Animation For Fun

I listen to an audio podcast done by an organization called Answers In Genesis which is hosted by Ken Ham. It's a Christain based company dealing with Creationism.

At any rate while listening to one of the podcasts I thought I'd animate it. I did this the other night.

There are some things I'm going to tweak, like, more body movement, sound effects and such.

On The Set

Last saturday I went into NYC to watch and help out on a filming of a DVD for the children's music act "Princess Katie & Racer Steve". I've been creating artwork for them since July; CD design, website design, anything they need design... At any rate, I created a number of props and banners for them to be used in the filming.

It was a tremendous learning experience on my part and I really enjoyed myself. Everyone there was great. Below are a few pics of the shoot along with a very bad photo of me. :)

My next job which I've already begun, is an animated music video of one of their songs. It's going to be a challenge, but I think it will be a great addition to their DVD.

Plush

I decided to use the sewing skills my mother taught me when I was a kid. Thanks Mom! This was my first try at making one of my monster characters into a Plush. With a little more practice i think they might be pretty neat. My kids really dig this guy, so of course I made two of them so they wouldn't be fighting over just one.

I hope to do more characters in the near future.
