Challenge Part 1 & 2

A few sketches for the latest challenge at Ben Caldwell's forum. A six parter, wow. Anyway these characters are based on a really old post and early concept. I figured why not rework them. 1. Hero and 2. Associate. Apparently an "Associate" is a side kick, I didn't know that. :)

Salty Graphic Studio Spot Animation

A short animation plugging my website ( and hopefully more). :0)

In a previous post I mentioned that I used to do a lot of 3D design before becoming addicted to 2D and the world of Flash. Well, I'm still addicted to Flash, but I decided to dabble a bit in 3D recently and came up with a short animation that plugs my site. Perhaps it could be used as a studio "tag" like on a DVD intro or something. who knows???

Noodling

Finally a post in 08. Man I have to update more. Anyway, A quick sketch for a challenge at Drawer Geeks. The topic is "Red Neck Games" It just so happened I recently saw a documentary on Noodling, the fine art of catching extremely large catfish with nothing more then your bare hands, a definite red neck game. Some of these fish were huge! I'm still trying to figure out what possessed me to watch such a documentary. Oh well. Below is my sketch of a Noodling Champ.
