2008 New Site

Well for the most part the new Salty Graphic Studio website is officially up. There's a bit more to add, but I'm confident that it wont take to much longer. The site is less of an online portfolio and more of showcasing a business if that makes any sense. I wanted the site to say animation and I hope it does. It has a few neat things so don't be shy and click away!

Studio Plug

My first official business card. woohoo. I'm on the verge of launching an animation & design studio and I thought it wise to have a business card, so here it is, well the front at least. The back obviously has all the contact info. In addition, my website is getting a complete overhaul so it's less of an online portfolio and more of a business. I'll be sure to post about that once I'm finished with it.

Design Stuff

I found this neat tutorial on creating a hand done logo of sorts over at www.gomediazine.com. So of courase I had to try it. below you can see the steps involved, sketch, vectorize it, manipulate it in a 3D program (Strata) and have fun editing it in Photoshop.

Testing

A test of sorts. I'm currently working on making my characters more fluid in their movement. It's still considered limited animation, but hopefully less "choppy" then what I've been doing before. This test focuses on arm and hand movement.

There isn't any sound to it. so don't think your speakers aren't working, he's not actually saying anything.
