Jelly Telly bumper
In a previous post I mentioned that I did some short animations for Phil Vischer's new company Jelly Telly . These short animations are actually "bumpers", those little station I.D's in between shows. Below is one of them. I hope to post a few more in the near future.
Oh yeah, the little boy's voice at the end of this particular bumper is my son's. He got kick out that. :)

Too Thick
well, here's an installment of grade school humor. :)
It features characters I developed from previous posts.
Oh yeah, some of you might be wondering why the little orange guy's name is Acorn. Well, I asked my son to come up with a name for him and he thought the shape of that little monster looked a bit like an upside down acorn. So Acorn it is. :)
Just click on the image to view it as a Quicktime movie.

Jelly Telly
Phil Vischer. the creator of Veggie Tales and Big Idea productions has launched a new site called Jelly Telly.. The plan is to provide a platform for quality Christian entertainment for Kids. I had the pleasure of contributing a few things to their 28 minute demo video; the Intro and Outro animation with a little boy character and the webpage art itself.
Anyway, just click the image to go watch the video.

Cintiq Sketches
Well, I ordered a Cintiq and it arrived today. It's going to take a little bit to get used to, but so far it's great. I love sketching everything with paper and pencil, but it takes a while to scan them and clean them up especially when there's a lot to scan. Below are my first attempts at sketching dirrectly into Photoshop with the Cintiq. I'm hooked.
