The Original Strongman

I spent the other day at my kids school teaching grades 2 through 8 art. More specifically I taught and shared cartoon and animation. I spent time showing them how I draw my characters and then a bit about the animation process. It was a lot of fun and all the kids were great. Their enthusiasm was contagious. I actually had to give them an assignment which was to pick a Bible character they liked and then draw them as a cartoon character. The last step was to take that Bible character and redraw them as a futuristic super hero. The character I focused on was Samson, the original strongman. Below are two sketches I did.
